How to create and deploy a Chatbot on Instagram using Cheerio AI?

To create a custom chatbot for your Instagram account. You're required to connect your Instagram Account with Cheerio AI.

1. For that Login to your Cheerio AI account and head over to Discover Platform.

   

   
   

2. Click on the Facebook integration. Here you will find an option for Instagram, Messenger Messaging

   

   
   

3. Click on Connect and log in with your Facebook/Instagram account to give all the necessary access asked for and your account will get connected with Cheerio AI.

   

   
   
   
   

Now once your account is connected with Cheerio AI. You can create automation from workflow. You can find workflows in automation from the side Navigation Bar.

1. Create a new workflow by clicking on add flow
   

2. Drag & drop the Instagram Event node from the Nodes panel.

   

   
   

3. Click on edit and select the event type "Incoming DM message"

   

   
   

4. Add a relevant keyword on which you want to trigger a workflow. for example: Hi, Hello, Hey, and hit save

   

   
   

5. Now Drag and drop Instagram Action Node and click on edit to tweak settings

   

   
   

6. Select Reply in DM option and continue with the type of message you want to send as a reply

   

   
   

7. There are 6 types of replies you can send on Instagram ie (Text, Image, Video, Card, Product message, Audio)

   

   
   

8. Select the relevant message type you want to use and add details in the node and click on save

   

   
   

9. Connect the node using the connector and your first message response is now set. just like that you can add multiple message nodes after each node and create an entire user flow as per your need.

   

   
   

10. Finally, name this flow to save it, and make sure to turn ON the toggle of the flow to test it out.

    

    
    
    
    

11. Default Flow: In case any of your existing keywords don't match, in that case you can create a default workflow to get triggered. To create any workflow as default for Instagram. Simply check on the "Execute flow if no keyword matches" and save. Now this entire flow will be treated as a default flow if any unmatched keyword is typed by the user.
